August 4, 2023•Marussia Beverages USA has acquired Columbus, Ohio’s Watershed Distillery for an undisclosed sum. The addition brings Watershed into the fold alongside Marussia’s other brands like Mozart Chocolate Liqueurs, Torabhaig Scotch whiskies, Bärenjäger, and Clonakilty Irish whiskey, among others. Watershed will add a variety of spirits to Marussia’s portfolio, with the craft distiller producing apple brandy, Bourbon, and rye, in addition to a variety of unaged spirits, bottled cocktails, and liqueurs.
•Texas-based Still Austin Whiskey Co. has released Cask Strength Rye, the latest whiskey from the grain-to-glass distiller. The 58% abv whiskey is made entirely from Texas-grown rye and is the higher-proof sibling to the company’s existing rye, the Artist. The new release carries a suggested price of $65 and is available in retailers across Texas and for delivery through Reserve Bar.
