•Baker’s 13 Year Old, Hardin’s Creek Frankfort, WhistlePig Beyond Bonded, and newcomers from The Glenlivet and Widow Jane are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The website has all the details.

•Sammy Hagar and Guy Fieri have announced new packaging for their Santo Spirits portfolio, timed to the launch of the brand’s first Añejo Tequila. The new packaging replaces the painted and rectangular bottles with new clear and square ones, with embossing and branding featured prominently on the bottles. The bottle is topped with a wood and synthetic cork stopper and the refresh covers Santo’s Blanco ($45), Reposado ($50), Añejo ($75), and Tequila/mezcal blend, Mezquila ($60).

•Beaver Dam, Kentucky’s Hemingway Whiskey Company has launched Hemingway Rye Whiskey Signature Edition, the brand’s new core offering. The 51% abv whiskey is a blend of 6-year-old Indiana Straight rye (90%) and 4-year-old Kentucky Straight rye (10%), with both components finishing in rum-seasoned Oloroso Sherry casks. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $80 a bottle. In addition to launching the new whiskey, Hemingway has also expanded its distribution footprint with the Signature Edition available in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, and Texas, as well as the brand’s existing markets of Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

•New Jersey-based importer Worldwide Libations is adding Seifried Estate Winery of Nelson, New Zealand to its range. The winery offers two different styles of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the family’s Seifried and Old Coach Road wine brands. Old Coach Road Sauvignon Blanc and Old Coach Road Pinot Noir will retail for $15 and $20 respectively, Seifried Sauvignon Blanc for $20, and Seifried Pinot Noir for $25. Seifried farms 800 acres across 10 sustainably accredited vineyards scattered throughout the Nelson region.
