•E.&J. Gallo is adding Australian winery Wirra Wirra to its U.S. import range. Gallo will be the exclusive importer for Wirra Wirra’s luxury portfolio of Shiraz, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Based in McLaren Vale, Wirra Wirra’s most popular bottling is Church Block Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz-Merlot, Australia’s leading Cabernet blend over $20. The winery’s portfolio also features a range of other offerings, including flagship wines The Holy Thirst and RSW.

•Irish single malt producer Waterford Whisky has expanded its U.S. distribution footprint through new partnerships with importer MORF Brands and distributor Johnson Brothers. The new agreement will bring the distiller’s core portfolio—flagship release “The Waterford,” an Organic Cuvée, a Peated Cuvée, and a Biodynamic Cuvée—to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Hawaii, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Rhode Island. Waterford Whisky will be handled by Johnson Brothers’ luxury division, Oxford Street Merchant.

•In Hawaii’s deadliest disaster since at least 1946, a series of powerful and fatal wildfires have devastated parts of the island of Maui, killing more than 90 people and burning hundreds of buildings in the historic resort town of Lahaina. Thousands of residents have evacuated and damage assessment has just begun, but Wine Spectator has learned that the popular restaurant Fleetwood’s on Front St., owned by rock musician Mick Fleetwood, has been destroyed. Here’s the full story.

•Dunkin’ has released a new line of malt-based hard coffees and teas to the off-premise. Dunkin’ Spiked Coffee comes in four varieties—Original, Caramel, Mocha, and Vanilla—all at 6% abv. The coffees will be available in a variety 12-pack of 12-ounce cans, 4-packs of 12-ounce cans of the Original flavor, and in individual 19.2-ounce cans for Original. The Spiked Iced Teas, similarly, come in four flavors—Slightly Sweet, Half & Half, Strawberry Dragonfruit Iced Tea Refresher, and Mango Pineapple Iced Tea Refresher—all at 5% abv. They’re available in a variety 12-pack, 6-packs of the Slightly Sweet, and 19.2-ounce cans of the Slightly Sweet. Dunkin’ Spiked is rolling out now in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont.
