•Indiana-based Hard Truth Distilling is collaborating on a new series with Mellencamp Whiskey Company. It will include a four-part, limited collectors series of Hard Truth’s Sweet Mash Rye Whiskey to be released in the spring and fall. The first release, Harvest Sweet Mash Rye ($70), will debut at the distillery September 9, then roll out to select retailers nationally. Each whiskey will be selected and married by Hard Truth master distiller Bryan Smith, along with Hud Mellencamp and Levi Collison from the Mellencamp Whiskey Co. Each bottle in the series will feature original artwork by John Mellencamp.

•Columbus, Ohio-based hard iced tea brand Wild T has launched a new flavor amid a period of distribution expansion. The new release, Wild T Original, a 5% abv blend of black and green teas, is available in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans and 4-packs of 16-ounce cans. The brand has entered chains in Ohio like Kroger and Meijer through Heidelberg Distributing, which also handles the brand in Kentucky. Wild T has also entered Connecticut through Sarene Craft Beer Distributors and Texas through Green Light Distribution. This brings Wild T to a total of six markets, also including Pennsylvania and Michigan.
