•New finished Bourbons from Barrell Craft Spirits. Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye, a new Bardstown Bourbon Co. finished bourbon release in collaboration with Goose Island Brewery, and several new whiskeys from Memphis-based Old Dominick are just some of the new whiskies covered in the most recent new product update from Whisky Advocate here.

•Larkspur, California-based O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has promoted Amanda Gorter to director of winemaking, Central Coast. In the newly created role, she will focus on supporting the growth and strategic innovation of O’Neill’s Central Coast brands. She was previously lead winemaker for Robert Hall Winery in Paso Robles and played a key role in the development of Charles Woodson’s Intercept wines. Gorter first joined the company in 2013 as a harvest intern.

•Bud Light has continued its partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio Athletics, remaining the Official Beer Partner of Roadrunners Athletics. The extended partnership includes Roadrunner-branded Bud Light packaging, including 16-ounce aluminum bottles at the team’s Alamodome, with other branded packaging available in bars and retailers throughout the region. In the San Antonio region, the Anheuser-Busch portfolio, including Bud Light, is handled by Silver Eagle Beverages.
