Treasury Wine Debuts New Tapestry Wine Brand

September 13, 2023

Treasury Wine Estates is launching Tapestry, billed as a new “luxury lifestyle blend” from Paso Robles. The debut offering, a 2021 Tapestry Paso Robles Red Blend ($25), is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petite Sirah, and is now available by the bottle and the glass nationally. Sourced from both the eastern and western halves of Paso Robles, the new brand sports a label depicting a tapestry of flora and fauna from Paso Robles vineyards, including poppies, mustard flowers, finches, and a California King Snake.

“As the luxury wine sector surged by 12% in the past year, we recognized an opening to celebrate the distinctive terroir of California’s fastest-growing wine region,” said Carl Evans, chief marketing officer of Treasury Americas, adding that the goal for the brand is to “resonate with a diverse array of wine enthusiasts, each bringing their own unique backgrounds, perspectives, and narratives.” Tapestry will be extended with a Sauvignon Blanc in 2024.—Daniel Marsteller
