September 14, 2023•Washington-based Woodinville Whiskey Company announced the release of its Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished with Toasted Applewood Staves. The product dates to 2017 when the company’s annual Harvest Release was a Bourbon finished with applewood staves. The response from consumers was strong, so now it’s back as a national release. Bottled at 50% abv, it has already sold out at the Woodinville tasting room and is only available at retail, priced at $100 a 750-ml. Woodinville Whiskey joined the Moët Hennessy portfolio in 2017.

Boston is a 17-year-old Bourbon aged at the Booker Noe campus in the whiskey’s namesake town. It’s bottled at 55% abv and carries a suggested price of $170. Hardin’s Creek Boston follows two prior releases aged at Beam’s Clermont and Frankfort facilities.
•Baileys Irish Cream, part of the Diageo portfolio, is launching Baileys Chocolate Liqueur. The new release is made from Baileys Original and Belgian chocolate. It’s at 15.7% abv and is packaged in an opaque royal blue bottle. It is launching with a marketing campaign that includes 3D out-of-home displays in Los Angeles and New York City, a new creative spot, and partnerships with talent that will bring the drink to social feeds. Baileys Chocolate is available nationwide now, priced at $25 a 750-ml. Baileys’ U.S. volume stood at approximately 1.5 million cases last year, according to Impact Databank.
