•Proximo’s Gran Coramino Tequila has partnered with Atlanta’s NBA team to become a “Spirit of the Atlanta Hawks.” The partnership features placement and signature Gran Coramino cocktails in the Delta Sky360 Club in State Farm Arena, as well as signage and ads throughout the arena for all Hawks home games. In addition to the partnership, the brand will host a sweepstakes later this year giving fans a chance to win brand cofounder Kevin Hart’s courtside seats. Last year, in a partial year on the market, Impact Databank estimates that Gran Coramino reached 50,000 cases, with the company telling SND that the brand has continued to grow in 2023.

•Rémy Cointreau has announced the Single Estate Series, a new line of rums from Mount Gay. The first release, Single Estate Series 23 01, is a 55% abv pot still rum distilled from sugarcane harvested from the Mount Gay estate in 2016 and 2017. The rum is non-chill filtered and will launch in November. Only 1,200 700-ml. bottles will be available in the U.S. for a suggested retail price of $400 a bottle.

•Napa Valley-based Chandon, part of the Moet Hennessy portfolio, has revamped its brand home and visitor experiences. The winery partnered with Taalman Architecture for the redesign, which retains its barrel-shaped roofs but opens up the space across a number of different indoor and outdoor tasting areas. Visits are allowed without appointment, but special bookable offerings include a multi-course farm-to-table tasting menu, sailcloth cabanas for groups, picnic boxes on the garden lawn, dinner tastings, and masterclass options led by Chandon’s winemaker. Chandon’s U.S. volume was up 3% to 537,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Diplomático rum, part of the Brown-Forman portfolio, is introducing a new 2007 single vintage bottling. The vintage rum was aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-whiskey casks with some rums finished in ex-Sherry casks for additional complexity. This is the seventh vintage offering from the brand. Diplomático Single Vintage 2007 retails at $120 for a 750-ml. bottle and is at 43% abv. The rum brand was at 56,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Newport, Kentucky’s New Riff has announced a pair of new 8-year-old whiskies, the oldest whiskies so far from the distillery and the latest additions to the company’s “High Note” collection. First up is Bohemian Wheat Bourbon, a wheated whiskey that comes in at 58.95% abv and is inspired by German wheat beers and made from a mash of 65% corn, 18% Bohemian floor-malted wheat, 10% unmalted wheat, and 7% dark wheat. The second release is unmalted rye whiskey at 59.1% abv. The two whiskies are available in limited quantities across Kentucky for a suggested price of $70 each.
