•Bacardi-owned single malt Scotch Aberfeldy has released a 25-Year-Old limited edition. Debuting in celebration of the distillery’s 125th anniversary, it was matured for over two decades in a combination of re-fill hogsheads and refill butts, and finished for over a year in first-fill Oloroso Sherry casks. Aberfeldy’s 25-year-old expression has an abv of 46%, is non-chill filtered, and has no color added. It’s rolling out globally in a special edition collector’s pack for $550.

•Argentina’s Trapiche is introducing Tesoro, a new range of varietal wines. The Tesoro lineup includes Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay offerings retailing at $15 a 750-ml. Tesoro Malbec is launching this month, to be followed by the Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in February. The wines, which will be available at leading retailers like HEB and Total Wine among others, come from the vineyards of La Consulta, Chacayes, and Los Arboles, all more than 1,250 meters above sea level. Trapiche produces more than 3.5 million cases annually. In the U.S., the brand had volume of 190,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Diageo’s Crown Royal has released a new limited time offering, a 30-year-old Canadian whisky. The new luxury release comes in at 46% abv and is blended from whiskies all distilled on Crown’s Coffey still. According to Crown Royal vice president Tatiana Conti, this release marks the “second evolution” of the brand’s Extra Rare series. Crown Royal Aged 30 Years is now available for a limited time in Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, and on military bases for a suggested price of $500 a 750-ml.

•Brooklyn, New York-based Q Mixers has launched a packaging refresh. The brand updates cover Q’s packaging, website, and event and experiential design, and will also be accompanied by a new digital and out-of-home campaign. According to the company, one of the goals of the refresh was to highlight the ingredients used in Q’s mixers. Q releases 14 different mixers, covering tonics, ginger beers, club soda, grapefruit soda, and others.
