•Michigan’s Blake’s Hard Cider and Texas-based Austin Eastciders have joined together—along with previous Blake’s acquisition Avid Cider Company—to form Blake’s Beverage Company. According to the new company, they are the largest independent cider company in the U.S. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the company reports that this move gives them a steady supply of apples, sourced from across the U.S., to fuel growth across their nearly two-million-case portfolio.

•Delaware’s Dogfish Head has launched a new winter seasonal variety pack, as well as bringing back three seasonal brews. The new variety pack contains three cans each of Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, Blue Hen Pilsner, and a new brew, the Perfect Pairing hazy pale ale. In addition, the brewery has debuted the 2023 releases for Crimson Cru, a collaboration with Belgium’s Brouwerij Rodenbach; Pennsylvania Tuxedo, a pale ale brewed with spruce; and World Wide Stout, the brewery’s 15% to 20% abv stout. Dogfish Head is part of Boston Beer Company.
