Deutsch Promotes Execs Amid Marketing Restructure
April 9, 2024Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits has restructured its marketing department, shifting focus to three areas: consumer, commercial, and innovation. As its name suggests, Deutsch’s new consumer team will handle all consumer facing marketing and promotional material, while the commercial team will handle distributor-, retail, and on-premise-focused activations; and the innovation team will be focused on new products. With this change, the company has also made three new leadership appointments to manage the new structure.
Dan Kleinman has been named chief brand officer. In his new role, he’ll lead the consumer marketing team, responsible for public relations and consumer insights. Leading the company’s commercial marketing team is Susan Kilgore, Deutsch’s new senior vice president of commercial marketing. She comes to her new role with over a decade at Deutsch. Finally, Renato Reyes, the company’s chief strategy and growth officer, will take on the additional responsibilities of leading Deutsch’s innovation team. Reyes previously served as Deutsch’s chief marketing officer from 2010 to 2018. —Shane English
