48th Impact Annual Marketing Seminar Announced
April 16, 2024M. Shanken Communications, Inc. has announced the program for the 48th Annual Impact Marketing Seminar, taking place at New York City’s Pierre Hotel on Wednesday, September 25. The preeminent global conference for the drinks industry, the Impact Marketing Seminar brings together CEOs, presidents, and senior executives of leading companies from around the world.
In past years, the event has also been held in London, Paris, Tokyo, Berlin, and Madrid. Distinguished luncheon speakers (never announced in advance) have included Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretaries of State Dr. Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig and Madeleine Albright, Ambassador John Bolton and Journalist Walter Cronkite, among many others. Recent luncheon speakers have included NFL star and television personality Michael Strahan (2023), Fox News anchor Brett Baier (2022), Florida governor Ron DeSantis (2021), and financier and philanthropist Michael Milken (2020).
This year’s Seminar program includes the following featured speakers:

- Stephanie Gallo, Chief Marketing Officer, Gallo, on “Democratizing Wine: A Steadfast Vision to the Evolving Landscape”

- Irwin Simon, Chairman & CEO, Tilray Brands Inc., on “The Challenges and Future of Cannabis in America”
- Rocco Lombardo, President, Wilson Daniels, on “Key Growth Areas for Fine Wine in the U.S. Market”
There will also be a special workshop from Total Wine & More entitled, “Meeting Your Customers Where They Are: The Future of Beverage Alcohol Retailing.” Leading the workshop will be:
