Bacardi Extends Scotch Labels Aberfeldy, Dewar’s With New Launches

May 3, 2024

Bacardi is debuting two new offerings within its Scotch whisky range this spring. The Aberfeldy single malt brand is adding a limited edition 15 Year Old Cadillac White Wine Cask whisky. Retailing at $75, the luxury malt is bottled at 43% abv and is the latest expression under Aberfeldy’s Exceptional Casks series. Aberfeldy shipped 25,000 cases to the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

Dewar’s blended Scotch whisky, meanwhile, is releasing a new 19 Year Old The Champions Edtion in conjunction with its sponsorship of the U.S. Open of golf. Extra-matured in rye casks, this year’s edition in the series retails at $80 and is bottled at 43% abv. This is the fourth year Dewar’s has served as official Scotch whisky of the tournament. Dewar’s shipped 870,000 cases to the U.S. last year.—Daniel Marsteller
