Jones Soda Taps Growth In Hemp THC Space

May 21, 2024

Mary Jones, the cannabis beverage extension of Jones Soda Company, is showing rapid growth from a small base, up 33% sequentially and tripling since the same quarter a year ago. The company noted that its hemp THC Mary Jones products offer higher margins than its traditional sodas, boosting gross profit for the group. Mary Jones recently expanded beyond beverages with newly launched Delta-9 THC gummies. The new gummies come in four Mary Jones flavors with either 5-mg. or 10-mg. of THC per gummy.

“We continue to make progress with geographic expansion into new markets and introducing new product offerings,” said David Knight, president and CEO of Jones Soda. “Our newly launched Hemp Delta-9 products have been met with incredible reception from the broader consumer base, and we believe this product line will be a core growth driver going forward.—Shane English
