Delicato Backs Million-Case Coppola Diamond Collection With Summer Campaign

Delicato Family Wines is backing the Francis Coppola Diamond Collection with a national campaign featuring U.S. Women’s Soccer National Team captain Lindsey Horan. The campaign launched nationwide yesterday and includes five spots developed by Los Angeles-based agency High Wide & Handsome, centered around Horan’s journey to become one of the nation’s top soccer players.

The initial phase of the multimillion-dollar “It takes time to make a diamond” campaign debuted last year with spots featuring brand founder Francis Ford Coppola. Diamond Collection grew 5% to 1.1 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank. It now ranks as the number-three super-premium domestic wine brand in the U.S. in retail channels. —Daniel Marsteller
