•El Mayor Tequila, part of the Luxco portfolio, has launched Rosado Reposado, the latest release from Mexico’s Destiladora Gonzalez Lux. After distillation, the Tequila is matured in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels for nine months before bottling at 40% abv. The limited release is rolling out now in Colorado, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, and Virginia, carrying a suggested price of $45 a bottle. Luxco is the branded arm of MGP Ingredients. El Mayor grew 13% to 59,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Atlanta, Georgia’s Tip Top Proper Cocktails has extended its canned cocktail lineup, adding a new Cosmopolitan to the portfolio. The 24% abv cocktail is made with vodka, orange liqueur, lime, and cranberry, and comes packaged in a 100-ml. can. The new release, which is available in individual cans and 4-packs in select states across the U.S., sits alongside Tip Top’s other cocktails, including the Boulevardier, Gin Martini, Manhattan, Negroni, Old Fashioned, Bee’s Knees, Daiquiri, Espresso Martini, Jungle Bird, Margarita, and Mai Tai.

•Minnesota’s Prestige Beverage Group has added S.A. Prüm and the Raimund Prüm brands to its import portfolio, effective this month. The deal brings the Prüm labels under Prestige’s purview across the U.S., with the importer handling all sales and marketing duties for the Mosel-based German wines. The Prüm wineries are known for their Rieslings, though the company also produces Sekt, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc, among other wines.
