August 6, 2024•Sazerac’s Paul Masson Brandy has teamed with rapper Paul Wall to launch Paul Masson Ice. The 24.5% abv spirit is tangerine and grapefruit flavored and, according to the company, features a cooling finish. Ice comes in a frosted bottle with a label that darkens when it’s chilled to 40 degrees. Paul Masson Ice is now available across the U.S. in 50-, 375-, and 750-ml. bottles. The new release joins Paul Masson’s other flavored brandies, including apple, peach, coconut, chocolate, fruit punch, grape, vanilla, and watermelon.
•Kylie Jenner’s Sprinter Spirits has signed a national distribution agreement with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, giving the nation’s largest distributor the brand in 31 markets. The move comes alongside the creation of Calabasas Beverage Company, a new entity tying Kylie’s Sprint brand with her sister Kendall’s 818 Tequila. With both brands aligned with Southern, the two will share sales and marketing teams.
•Whiplash Whiskey and RNDC will be expanding their distribution partnership to include Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Hawaii, and Ohio. RNDC already distributes the whipped cream-flavored Whiplash ($27 a bottle) in Florida, Colorado, Georgia, South Carolina, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, California, Mississippi, Maryland, and DC. Whiplash Whiskey is also available across Arkansas, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington, Nevada, and Kansas and is targeting a total of 30 states by October. Launched at the start of the year, Whiplash sold 15,000 cases in its first six months on the market.
