RNDC Expands In Idaho Market

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) has expanded in Idaho, acquiring Idaho Wine Merchant through RNDC subsidiary Hayden Beverage Company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal takes effect August 31. According to RNDC, Idaho Wine Merchant will be integrated into Hayden’s business over the next year while maintaining distinct sales and brand and account management teams. The combined companies will be able to offer Idaho customers a full complement of wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Prior to the acquisition, RNDC’s Idaho business was projected to hold steady at $90 million this year, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter.—Shane English
