Brown-Forman has released Old Forester King Ranch Edition, the third Texas-exclusive Bourbon from the Kentucky-based distillery. The 52.5% abv whiskey is a blend of Bourbons aged in heavily charred barrels and filtered through mesquite charcoal from the whiskey’s namesake ranch. The new release will be available in limited quantities in retailers across Texas for a suggested price of $100 a 750-ml. Last year, Old Forester was up 13.5% to 485,000 cases, according to Impact Databank. This year, Old Forester was up 7.5% in control states through July, according to NABCA.

Hip-hop legends Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg have launched Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop, a new super-premium gin. The spirit is bottled at 42.5% abv and is made with juniper, tangerine, coriander, and jasmine, among other botanicals. The new venture is led by Patrick Halbert, Andrew Gill, and Rocco Milano, founders of Suntory-acquired On the Rocks Cocktails. Still G.I.N. is now available across the U.S. through Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and carries a suggested retail price of $35 a 750-ml.

Rémy Cointreau’s Louis XIII Cognac is opening a pop-up at the Wynn Las Vegas, timed to the city’s upcoming F1 race. The temporary shop will be located inside the Wynn and runs through November 30, showcasing the brand’s flagship and limited releases, including the Iconic Collection and Rare Cask 42.1. The pop-up is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Canned cocktail brand Cutwater Spirits has announced two new variety packs, featuring new limited-edition cocktails, as well as the permanent addition of an Espresso Martini to the brand’s portfolio. The new Fireside Variety Pack features 12 200-ml. cans of Cutwater’s Espresso Martini, White Russian, and Spiced Apple Mule, a new limited-time release. In addition, Cutwater has released a new Whiskey Sour at 8% abv and available in select markets. Nationally, Cutwater has added a Peppermint White Russian and a Tiki Nog Cocktail for the holiday season. Cutwater had U.S. volume of 3 million cases last year, second only to High Noon in the spirits-based RTD segment.
