•Buffalo Trace Distillery, part of the Sazerac portfolio, is introducing its 2024 Antique Collection. This year’s collection includes Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old Bourbon, George T. Stagg Bourbon, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey, Sazerac 18-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, and William Larue Weller Bourbon. The Buffalo Trace Antique Collection bottles are sold individually at a suggested retail price of $150.
•Champagne Fleur de Miraval, founded by Brad Pitt, Famille Perrin, and Rodolphe Péters, is debuting its newest cuvée, ER4 (Exclusivement Rosé 4). Produced in le Mesnil sur Oger, Fleur de Miraval ER4 is a blend of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir that aged four years on the lees. Retailing at $300 a 750-ml., it’s rolling out to leading retailers and restaurants in the U.S.
•Missing Thorn, a new non-alc wine from industry veterans Aaron Pott and Stephanie Honig, has launched in DTC channels. On launch, the brand offers four wines—a red and a white, as well as a still and sparkling rosé—retailing from $25 to $30 depending on the offering. The white wine is made from Albariño, the red from Malbec, and the pair of rosés from Barbera. Missing Thorn is now available through the brand’s website. In the on-premise, the team has partnered with companies like Union Square Hospitality Group, Fleming’s, and Farmstead to add Missing Thorn to select wine lists across the U.S.
•Kind of Wild Wines, the organic brand co-founded by TV host and cookbook author Katie Lee Biegel and Winesellers Ltd, is extending with a California Pinot Noir. Retailing at $26 a bottle, Kind of Wild’s new Pinot is launching at select Total Wine outlets and online. Kind of Wild wines are considered zero-sugar (less than 0.5 grams of sugar per serving), and each 5-ounce glass contains 0.18 grams of sugar, 4 carbs, and 125 calories. This is Kind of Wild’s first California offering, with the portfolio also including bottlings from France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Argentina, South Africa, and Washington State.
