Denver, Colorado’s Laws Whiskey House has released new batches of Honey Cask Finished Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Four Grain Bourbon Whiskey finished in a Cognac Foeder. The whiskies are both priced at $85 a bottle and are available at Laws’ distillery, through their website, and in select retailers across the U.S. The Honey Cask whiskey is bottled at 50% abv and is finished in Laws barrels that were filled with local honey before being dumped for the whiskey’s finish. The Cognac Foeder whiskey is bottled at 47.5% and, after initial maturation, is finished in a variety of Cognac casks before a final finishing period in a 1,600 gallon foeder.

B2B e-commerce platform LibDib has expanded to Washington, D.C., bringing the three-tier compliant alcohol marketplace to the nation’s capital. With the announcement, producers can sign up to list their products on LibDib, while bars, restaurants, and retails are now able to access the marketplace. According to LibDib, the marketplace contains thousands of listings, with a particular focus on small batch and unique wines and spirits. LibDib operates in 16 markets in the U.S., including its partnership with RNDC—RNDC On-Demand—which is the name of the platform in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kentucky, Indiana, and Georgia.
