•Michter’s 20 Year Old, Johnnie Walker Lunar New Year Edition, Macallan Harmony, and newcomers from Pendleton and Laws are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The website has all the details.

•Penfolds, part of the Treasury Wine Estates portfolio, has released a limited-edition 2022 Bin 389 magnum bottle for the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Zodiac. The Lunar New Year bottle depicts a gold and turquoise snake meant to signify elegance, transformation, and a sense of infinite wisdom. The special edition retails at $225 a 1.5-liter. Penfolds had U.S. volume of 75,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Shucked Bourbon, inspired by the musical of the same name, is rolling out across New York, Connecticut, Texas, and Tennessee, with more markets to follow. Distilled in Indiana, the 7-year Straight Bourbon has a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, and a $70 SRP. Brand owners Christopher Allen and Kevin Duda are two of the Shucked musical’s producers. Wine and spirits veteran Robert Chin is leading the rollout, while Foley Family Wines & Spirits is serving as sales agent for the brand.
