Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 Countdown Is Underway

Whisky Advocate kicked off its countdown of the most exciting whiskies of the year yesterday, revealing a wheat whiskey, an 8-year-old Bourbon, and a Highland single malt Scotch as its Nos. 10, 9, and 8 whiskies of 2024 respectively.

Today at 11am ET, the magazine will unveil whiskies Nos. 7, 6, and 5, followed by Nos. 4, 3, and 2 on Wednesday. The Whisky of the Year will be announced on Thursday, December 5, and the complete list of Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 for 2024 will be published on Friday.
