The Cannabist Company has expanded its partnership with Flower by Edie Parker, with Cannabist producing the brand for dispensaries in Virginia and Colorado. The move brings the partnership between Cannabist and Edie Parker to 11 states across the U.S. In addition to expanding the brand’s reach, the companies have launched a new line of Flower by Edie Parker edibles in Colorado and New York, with further distribution coming in Q1 2025. Looking ahead, the Cannabist Company intends to expand Flower by Edie Parker to Delaware dispensaries next year.

•Recreational cannabis sales in Michigan are approaching $10 billion, less than five years after adult-use sales commenced in December 2019. The total—$9.7 billion, per state data—averages out to roughly $280 million in cannabis sales per month. This year, through October, Michigan sales were at more than $2.5 billion, with the yearly total expected to be around $3 billion.

•Delaware’s adult-use license lottery will open on December 19, according to the state, with 15 licenses available. The move follows the October lottery, which awarded 99 licenses across the retail, cultivation, and processing tiers. The December lottery has 519 applicants seeking “Open Retailer” licenses, which the state says require thorough plans and financial review to be approved.

Snoop Dogg has expanded his cannabis business with a new online store selling hemp-derived THC products, alongside cannabis accessories and merchandise. The site, SWED.com, is an expansion of his S.W.E.D. (Smoke Weed Every Day) dispensary in California and his Amsterdam-based coffee shop. Currently, the store lists a variety branded hemp THCA flower, plus consumption accessories and clothing. The website will also serve as a directory for S.W.E.D. dispensaries, which will be announcing new locations in the near future.
