The new release is now available in select markets across the U.S. and carries a suggested price of $800 a bottle. Park Street imports El Tequileño to the U.S.

•Vehrs Distributing Company has acquired Prime Wine & Spirits of Washington for an undisclosed sum, expanding Vehrs’ reach in the Pacific Northwest. Vehrs is a fine wine leader in the Pacific Northwest and, with the addition of Prime, the company will now occupy a leading position in the craft spirits and non-alcoholic markets. Prime’s sister company, Prime Wine & Spirits of Georgia, will continue as a separate independent entity. According to Vehrs, the company intends to keep Prime of Washington’s leadership team intact as the companies combine.

Diageo has launched a new 52-year-old Johnnie Walker Blended Scotch whisky. The whisky is exceedingly rare with only 200 bottles released for a suggested price of $25,000. Johnnie Walker 52 Year Old is now available in limited luxury retailers and through the Diageo private client team.
