Demeine Estates Enters Bordeaux, Adding Château Lascombes

January 9, 2025

Napa-based California wine marketer Demeine Estates is adding second-growth Bordeaux estate Château Lascombes to its import portfolio. This month, Demeine began handling the 2022 Château Lascombes ($98) and 2022 Chevalier de Lascombes ($47) bottlings. Later this spring, it will launch La Côte de Lascombes, a 100% Merlot that it says represents a new expression of the terroirs of Margaux.

Two of Château Lascombes’ library wines, the 2010 and 2015 vintages of Château Lascombes ($110 and $140 respectively), will also be available later this year. “Bordeaux is known for high quality wines with great aging potential, and Château Lascombes is no exception,” said Demeine president Philana Bouvier. “As one of the largest estates in Margaux, they offer an unmatched diversity of different soils and terroirs.”—Daniel Marsteller
