January 16, 2025•Gallo has added wine-based RTD Spritz Society to its distribution portfolio. The new agreement brings Spritz Society to retailers in South Carolina, Illinois, Texas, and Florida through Gallo immediately, with the companies planning for a national push in March. Spritz Society’s cocktails come in four varieties—Pink Lemonade, Peach, Lemon Iced Tea, and Pickle—all at 4.5% abv and 120 calories per serving. Four-packs of the cocktails retail for a suggested price of $12.50.
•Penelope Bourbon, part of MGP’s Luxco portfolio, has announced a new limited edition bottling of a 17-year-old Light Whiskey. The whiskey, made at MGP’s Lawrenceburg, Indiana distillery, aged in second-fill barrels and is bottled at cask strength of 69.4% abv. According to Penelope founder (and current MGP vice president of strategy) Michael Paladini, these are the oldest barrels released under the Penelope brand. The new offering will be available in limited quantities across the U.S. beginning in February. Penelope’s latest release carries a suggested price of $100 a 750-ml.
•Atlanta-based Staghorn is relaunching the All Nations Whiskey range from Garrard County Distilling Co. The first release from the revamped range is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a blend of 5- to 7-year old Bourbons bottled at 48% abv and sporting new packaging. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $40 and is available in Georgia (United Distributors), Kentucky (Kentucky Eagle), and Tennessee (Lipman Brothers), as well as e-commerce powered by Mash Networks. In addition to this flagship product, the All Nations lineup will include new small batch and single barrel Bourbons moving forward.
