Suntory Global Spirits’ Knob Creek has announced “Bold Picks,” a new collaboration between the brand and NFL great Eli Manning, featuring a special edition of Knob Creek and a series of predictions from Manning. The whiskey is a 9-year-old single barrel bottling of Knob Creek at 60% abv, chosen with input from Manning, and available in the New York City metro area, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $60 a bottle. In addition, the brand is running a sweepstakes, ultimately giving one fan (and three guests) a private tour and $1,000 to spend at Suntory’s American Outpost gift shop.

Napa-based importer and marketer Quintessential has partnered with RTD label Tia Linda’s Margarita. Under the deal, Tia Linda’s will join the Quintessential national portfolio. The brand’s range includes Classico, Strawberry, POG, and Spicy Jalapeño expressions, all canned at 18% abv. California-based Tia Linda’s was founded in 2018 by Meghan Hayward (née Christy), Graham Christy, and Mike Stroh. Quintessential’s brand stable includes 34 family estates, 47 wineries, and two distilleries spanning 12 countries.

•Nevada’s Frey Ranch Distillery has expanded into Colorado and Illinois. The move brings Frey Ranch’s line of farm-to-glass to 15 states in total, also including Nevada, California, Texas, Ohio, Oregon, Georgia, Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Virginia, New Mexico, and Indiana. Frey Ranch’s Bourbons, ryes, and other whiskies are made entirely from grain grown at the company’s farm in Fallon, Nevada.
