Diageo Invests $415 Million In New Alabama Plant

January 31, 2025

Diageo has announced plans to open a new manufacturing and warehousing facility in Montgomery, Alabama on a $415 million investment. The facility will have a multi-million-case annual production capacity covering Diageo’s leading brands. The company notes that the move will provide a new point of operations closer to distributors in the southern region, and bolster both North America supply chain operations and future growth for Diageo’s export business. Development of the site is already underway, with the facility expected to be fully operational in the second half of this year.—Daniel Marsteller
