Lucas Bols USA To Import Ireland’s The Muff Spirits Portfolio

Lucas Bols USA is adding the spirits of Ireland’s The Muff to its range. The Muff lineup includes a potato-based Irish Vodka and Irish Gin that are both distilled six times, and a triple distilled, five-part blend peated Irish Whiskey. All three retail at $35 a bottle; the vodka and gin are at 40% abv while the Irish whiskey is at 43% abv.

The Muff portfolio, founded in 2018 by Donegal native Laura Bonner, is rolling out nationally both on- and off-premise. The company’s backing includes celebrity investors comedian Jimmy Carr, actor Russell Crowe, and singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and Ronan Keating. The Muff’s offerings join brands including Bols, Passoã, and Galliano liqueurs as well as upscale Tequila Partida in the Lucas Bols USA portfolio.—Daniel Marsteller
