•Terlato Wine Group has been named sales and marketing agent for André Delorme’s Crémant wines from the Burgundy region of France. Owned by the Piffaut family, the Grands Crémant de Bourgogne specialist’s offerings will be available for distribution through Terlato Wine Group’s network of distributors beginning in June, and include a Brut ($25), Brut Rosé ($30), and Blanc de Blancs ($30). Burgundian Sparkling wines grew 26% in Nielsen channels last year.

•Winebow Imports has added Iceland’s Wanderlust Spirits to its import portfolio. The Reykjavík-based distiller produces Helix7 vodka, Askur gin, and Lagoon Bay orange aperitif, all made with Icelandic spring water. Wanderlust’s vodka is bottled at 40% abv and carries a suggested price of $20, the gin is at 45% and retails for $23, and the aperitif is at 13% abv and sells for around $25 a bottle. Wanderlust is the third spirits brand in Winebow’s import portfolio. In addition to signing on with Winebow, Wanderlust’s team is planning to open a Miami-based distillery and launch a new product (also handled by Winebow) this fall.

Avaline, the organic wine brand from Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, has promoted Matt Szura to senior vice president of sales. In his new role, Szura will lead the company’s national sales efforts, working with distributor and retail partners to grow the brand and expand Avaline’s on-premise presence, with a focus in the New York Tri-State and Florida markets. Additionally, Avaline has promoted Yujin Jones to senior sales director, focused on efforts to enter and expand in the Southeast and Caribbean regions. Avaline grew 50% to 214,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Luxco’s Remus Bourbon has announced Master Distiller Experimental Series No. 1, the first in a new line of unique whiskies from the Ross & Squibb Distillery. The whiskey, bottled at 53.5% abv, aged for nine years in lightly charred, heavily toasted Seguin Moreau barrels. Seguin Moreau is a historic cooperage with outposts in France, Arkansas, and California. The whiskey carries a suggested price of $80 a bottle and is available in limited quantities in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. Luxco and the Ross & Squibb Distillery are part of MGP.
