•Heaven Hill’s Elijah Craig has expanded its relationship with PGA Tour professional golfers, adding Robert MacIntyre and J.T. Poston to the brand’s roster of sponsored athletes. The deals will see Elijah Craig billed as the “Official Bourbon of” each golfer. Elijah Craig’s partnerships with the PGA Tour extend to the upcoming Ryder Cup, where the brand will serve as the “Official Bourbon and Worldwide Supplier of the 2025 Ryder Cup.” Leading up to the Cup, Heaven Hill will launch the “Road to the Ryder Cup” campaign. Last year, Elijah Craig was at 541,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Diageo has expanded Captain Morgan with a new Sweet Chili Lime flavored rum. The 35% abv flavored rum is now available across the U.S. in 50-, 375-, and 750-ml. bottles, as well as 1-liter and 1.75-liter bottles. Last year, Captain Morgan was at 4.4 million cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Taiwanese single malt house Kavalan is introducing a pair of new limited-edition whiskies to commemorate the distillery’s 15th anniversary. The cask-strength whiskies carry a suggested price of $1,000 per 750-ml. and both have been aging since 2009. The first whisky is bottled at 56.3% abv and aged in Oloroso Sherry casks. The second comes in at 50% abv and matured in ex-Bourbon casks. The whiskies are imported to the U.S. by Hotaling & Co. and will be available in limited quantities in California, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, and Texas.

•Portugal’s Symington Family Estates has launched Casa de Rodas Alvarinho in the U.S. The new entry is made by winemaker Anselmo Mendes at the 16th century, 68-acre Casa de Rodas estate in Monção that was acquired by the Symington family in 2022. Casa de Rodas Alvarinho is the first Vinho Verde from Symington and is now available across the U.S. for a suggested price of $30 a 750-ml., imported by Symington subsidiary Premium Port Wines.
