  • Vermont-based gin distiller Barr Hill has a signed a new distribution agreement with Martignetti Companies covering five New England markets. The deal will give Martignetti distribution rights for Barr Hill—including its spirits-based RTDs—in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, and Rhode Island. Barr Hill has been actively revamping its distribution partnerships in the last year, also signing with Fedway in New Jersey and Empire in New York.
  • Hotaling & Co.’s Old Potrero has released Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey, this year’s limited edition commemorating the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. This year’s release is bottled at 13-years-old and was distilled at the company’s Potrero Hill distillery. The release is limited to 431 700-ml. bottles and is available in select retailers across the U.S. Old Potrero Hotaling’s Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey carries a suggested price of $200 a bottle.
  • Enovation Brands’ Voga Italia has launched a new, environmentally-friendly design for its Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie DOC. The new bottle is sealed with a screwcap (rather than a synthetic cork) and the bottle itself is 20% lighter, bringing the case weight down by three pounds and the pallet weight down by 172 pounds. The wine is at 12% abv and carries a suggested price of $12 for a 750-ml. The new, lighter packaging is now available nationwide.
