•Hemp-derived THC beverage brand Wynk has launched a new line of sparkling lemonades, all at 10mg of THC per can. The drinks come in three flavors—lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and raspberry lemonade—all made without calories or sugar. The new line joins Wynk’s existing seltzers, available in a variety of flavors at 2.5mg and 5mg of THC. Wynk’s products are available in retailers across 18 states and for DTC shipping to 37.

•Jones Soda Co.’s THC business, Mary Jones, generated $2.7 million in revenue during fiscal year 2024. The revenues were split roughly evenly between hemp-derived THC and cannabis products, with the former generating $1.3 million in revenue and the latter bringing in $1.4 million. The company noted that the cannabis products were up 9% year-over-year, driven by strong sales in Canada. On the hemp-derived front, 2024 saw Jones sign 32 distribution agreements, including four in the fourth quarter, bringing Mary Jones’s hemp-derived products to two new states. In addition to the distribution expansion, Jones released THC-infused cola (and zero-calorie cola) in September 2024. Last year, amid the wider expansion of Mary Jones’s hemp-derived business, the company also expanded its cannabis products into Missouri, via a partnership with Clovr.

•Canadian cannabis company Organigram has entered the U.S. by acquiring Collective Project. The deal sees Organigram purchase all shares of the Collective Project, for a total of $4.4 million (C$6.2m). The buy, according to the company, improves Organigram’s position in THC beverages overall, including taking over Collective Project’s existing U.S.-based hemp-derived drinks. Collective Project’s hemp THC range comes in seven flavors in doses of 5mg and 10mg, with two flavors—Blood Orange, Yuzu, and Vanilla; and Mango, Pineapple, and Coconut—available in the U.S.  The pair of sparkling juices have already reached chain retailers like Top Ten Liquors in Minnesota and Total Wine locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Indiana. Looking ahead, Organigram says it will use Collective Project’s existing infrastructure and industry connections to launch its own hemp-derived beverages.
