Duckhorn Appoints WX Vet Ngo As Chief Growth Officer
April 15, 2025The Duckhorn Portfolio has expanded its executive team, naming WX Brands veteran Jeff Ngo as executive vice president and chief growth officer. In his new role, effective at the end of the month, Ngo will oversee brand marketing, trade marketing, creative services, and DTC. He succeeds Lisa Kislak, who has been fractional chief marketing officer since September 2024.
Most recently part of the team that has driven rapid growth for the Bread & Butter label at WX Brands, Ngo previously held marketing roles with Jackson Family Wines and Gallo, among others. Additionally, Duckhorn has appointed Nihar Bhatt as CFO. Bhatt is a veteran of Constellation and Pepsico among other companies.
“Our goal is to be the undisputed leader in American luxury wine, with a curated, comprehensive portfolio of growing and profitable winery brands,” said Duckhorn CEO Robert Hanson. “Nihar and Jeff will be instrumental in helping us achieve this goal.” The Duckhorn Portfolio was acquired by Los Angeles private equity firm Butterfly last year for just under $2 billion.—Daniel Marsteller
