Vintus Launching New Range From California’s Marietta Cellars

April 28, 2025

New York-based importer and marketer Vintus is debuting a new Old Vine Ranch portfolio from Scott Bilbro, owner and winemaker of California’s Marietta Cellars. The Old Vine Ranch lineup includes a Red Blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rosé, and Sauvignon Blanc, all positioned at $20 a bottle, with production of approximately 30,000 cases.

The new brand, which is rolling out nationally, is intended to pay homage to the historic field blend vineyards of California, and is named for a site in the McDowell Valley within the Mayacamas range, which contains field blend vines dating back to the 1880s. The second-generation owner of Sonoma-based Marietta, Bilbro has transitioned the winery to fully estate-grown and organically farmed fruit across 310 acres in Alexander Valley, McDowell Valley, and Yorkville Highlands. –Daniel Marsteller
