Last year, Patrón Tequila founder John Paul DeJoria acquired Texas-based Waterloo Gin from Treaty Oak Distilling for an undisclosed sum. Now he’s relaunching the Waterloo brand with redesigned packaging, including a taller, wood cork-topped bottle and a label featuring botanicals used in the gin.

In line with the relaunch, Waterloo Gin has partnered with U.S. wholesalers including Breakthru Beverage Group, Empire Distributors, Johnson Brothers Distributors, Kentucky Eagle, and Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) to expand beyond its current markets of Texas and Florida, on its way to national distribution. Waterloo includes the super-premium flagship Waterloo No. 9 Gin, as well as a Barrel-Aged Gin, both at 94 proof. –Daniel Marsteller
