Pernod Closes Sale Of 10M-Case Global Wine Business To Accolade Wines Owner

April 30, 2025

Pernod Ricard has closed on its 2024 deal with Australian Wine Holdco, offloading seven wineries and brands totaling 10 million cases to the owner of Accolade Wines. The deal includes brands like Jacob’s Creek, Orlando, and St Hugo from Australia; Stoneleigh, Brancott Estate, and Church Road from New Zealand; and Campo Viejo, Ysios, Tarsus, and Azpilicueta from Spain.

Terms of the deal remain undisclosed and Pernod Ricard will continue to distribute these brands “for a few months.” The sold brands will be used to establish Vinarchy, a new global wine company, and gives Accolade and Australian Wine Holdco a stronger footing in the U.S.—Shane English
