May 6, 2025

New Jersey-based Opici Wines & Spirits has been appointed the exclusive U.S. importer of Bodegas Borsao from the Campo de Borja Denominación de Origen (DO) in Spain’s Aragón region. Opici will be importing Borsao wines including Selección Blanco, Rosado, and Garnacha; Viña Borgia Organic; Bole, Cabriola, Berola, Tres Picos, and Zarihs; and Viña Borgia BIB 3L White, Rosé, and Garnacha.

Formed by the merger of three local cooperatives in 2001, Borsao is comprised of 375 grape-growing families across 5,580 acres in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain at elevations between 1,150 and 2,625 feet. Borsao invested in a new winery in 2019.

“These wines perfectly align with our mission to represent family-owned wineries of the highest quality, value, and integrity,” said Don Opici, CEO of Opici Wines & Spirits. “We look forward to working closely with Bodegas Borsao to grow their business in the United States.” Opici Wine & Spirits’ volume has been above 1 million cases in recent years.
