•Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has announced that Randy Myers, executive vice president, general manager, North Central Sub Region, is retiring effective May 31. Myers departs Southern with nearly 40 years in the beverage industry, starting at Gallo and Monarch Beverage Company before joining Glazer’s in 2007. In his final role, Myers oversaw operations in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

•Mississippi’s Cathead Distillery has kicked off its new Estate Collection with a 7-year-old wheat whiskey. The 50% abv whiskey is made from a 100% wheat mash distilled on a pot still. The whiskey is produced grain-to-glass in Mississippi. Cathead’s Estate Collection Straight Wheat Whiskey carries a suggested retail price of $75 and is available in select outlets in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
