RNDC Investing In $2.2 Billion Texas Operations
May 22, 2025Republic National Distributing Co. (RNDC) is set to add about 100 new roles in the Texas market as part of a strategic reinvestment in its operations. Texas is projected to be RNDC’s largest market this year, with revenues of just under $2.2 billion, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter.
Among the changes, RNDC says it’s undertaking a “focused rebuild of its on-premise teams, with a clear separation between wine and spirits to deliver more tailored, strategic support in each category.” The move will enable faster decision-making and deeper collaboration with both customers and suppliers, the company noted.
“We’ve taken a close look at where we are—and more importantly, where we need to be,” said Taylor Sommer, RNDC’s chief sales and execution officer. “After listening to our associates, customers, and supplier partners, one thing is clear: we need to strengthen our presence and performance in the market. Texas is a critical part of our foundation, and we’re proud to reinvest here. We look forward to evaluating each market to identify our strongest opportunities.”–Daniel Marsteller
