•Terlato Wines is launching San Greg Campania Rosato IGT, billed as a high-altitude mountain rosé made from 100% Aglianico. The new entry is debuting nationally, retailing at $23 a bottle. It’s the latest offering from Campania’s Feudi di San Gregorio, owned by the Capaldo family, which has 740 acres of vineyards throughout the region, planted to varietals such as Aglianico, Falanghina, Greco di Tufo, and Fiano di Avellino.

•Retired baseball legend David Ortiz has entered the spirits business with Ozama, a new rum brand distilled in the Dominican Republic. The brand is launching with three expressions—Blanco, Añejo, and Gran Añejo—all bottled at 40% abv and made from Dominican sugarcane. 2% of Ozama’s profits will be dedicated to cleaning up the rum’s namesake river and the surrounding communities. To launch the brand, Ortiz partnered with Drink2Success, led by industry veteran and former Avaline CEO Abbott Wolfe. Ozama’s three expressions retail between $30 and $45 a 700-ml. and are rolling out now in the Northeastern U.S. and Florida.
