High West, part of the Constellation Brands portfolio, has released this year’s edition of the Prisoner’s Share, a blend of Bourbon and rye whiskies finished in red wine barrels from The Prisoner winery. The whiskey is bottled at 51% abv and made from three Bourbons and two ryes, including one rye made at High West’s distillery. The whiskies, including finishing, are aged between four and 12 years. The Prisoner’s Share is now available in limited quantities across the U.S., carrying a suggested retail price of $175. Last year, High West reached 164,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Brown-Forman’s Diplomático rum has launched Single Vintage 2013, a new luxury-priced limited time offering. The rum is a blend made using pot stills, columns, and batch kettles that are all married before aging in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-single malt barrels. The 10-year-old rum carries a suggested price of $120 and is rolling out now to select retailers across the U.S. Diplomático had U.S. volume of 60,000 cases last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Michigan’s Round Barn Winery has launched two new wine-based Margarita cocktails. The pair—in Classic and Peach flavors—are both at 11% abv and available in 750-ml. bottles for $16. In addition to winery and online availability, the new wines are rolling out to select retailers across Michigan, with expansion to other states to follow.
