June 23, 2025•Reyes Beverage Group is continuing to build its spirits distribution business in California, this time adding the Branca USA portfolio. The partnership is effective next month and adds a leading global bitter aperitif in Fernet-Branca and a high-end vermouth in Carpano Antica, among other brands, to Reyes’s portfolio. Last year, Fernet-Branca was up 6.2% to just under 100,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank. This year, Reyes has added Tito’s vodka, the Brown-Forman portfolio, and Gallo’s High Noon in California, with its national wine and spirits revenue projected at above $2 billion for 2025, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter.
•WX Brands has launched Here by Chance, a new Paso Robles-appellated wine brand. The brand’s Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Kip Lorenzetti, who served as lead winemaker at Paso’s Chronic Cellars. The new release is from the 2022 vintage and carries a suggested price of $25 a bottle. The new wine is rolling out across the U.S. through the summer. WX Brands’ Bread & Butter label is among the most best-selling wines in the U.S. priced above $15, growing 8% to 1.7 million cases last year, according to Impact Databank.
•Spirits-based RTD label Carbliss, which earned Impact “Hot Brand” honors last year, has expanded into Texas and Tennessee. The move, which will see Carbliss available throughout Tennessee and in Houston, Texas, follows the brand’s recent expansion into Kentucky and Indiana. Carbliss, created in Wisconsin by Adam and Amanda Kroener, makes 5% abv cocktails using vodka and Tequila. Each is at 100 calories and the brand is available in flavors like Black Raspberry, Pineapple, Cranberry, and Lemon Lime, among others. Last year, the brand, which is owned by SNFood & Beverage LLC, grew 76% to 2.8 million cases, according to Impact Databank.
