Delicato Aligns With Breakthru In California

June 24, 2025

Supplier moves in California continue amid RNDC’s plans to exit the market at summer’s end, with Delicato Family Wines joining the Breakthru portfolio in the state effective September 1. Along with California, Breakthru handles the Delicato portfolio—totaling approximately 15 million cases in the U.S. annually and including Bota Box, Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection, Z. Alexander Brown, and Black Stallion, among others—in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Missouri, and Nevada. RNDC continues to distribute Delicato’s brands across 25 states.

Breakthru is also adding to its California range with a deal to handle CMB Family of Wines, including the Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery, Vina Robles Winery, Foppiano Vineyards, Angeline, Synthesis, and Courtney Benham Wines brands.

Meanwhile, Napa Valley’s St. Supéry is joining the portfolio of Regal Wine Co. “The portfolio has experienced significant momentum over the last few years, especially in California, and this new alliance will create a strength-on-strength synergy allowing for continued growth,” said Stephen Bei, VP of sales at Chanel-owned St. Supéry.—Daniel Marsteller
