- Maison Ferrand has launched Citadelle Gin Rouge, a new botanically-infused spirit made in tribute to France’s history of distilling seasonal fruits. The 41.7% abv gin is made with cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, and rhubarb, in addition to the original 19 botanicals used in Citadelle’s recipe. The new release carries a suggested price of $30 a 750-ml. Last year, Citadelle was up 5% to 87,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.
- Atlanta, Georgia-based Tip Top Proper Cocktails has named Nick Reely as the spirits-based RTD’s new CEO. Reely steps into the role as current CEO and co-founder Yoni Reisman takes a newly created role as the chairman of the board. Reely, prior to his promotion, served as Tip Top’s chief sales officer. Before joining Tip Top, Reely worked for Pabst Brewing Company as vice president of marketing. During his tenure at Tip Top, Reely has guided the brand’s expansion, helping bring the brand to 25 states, up from five when he joined the company.
