Regal Wine Co. Adds Hope Family To Growing Supplier Roster

July 7, 2025

Regal Wine Co., the California distributor founded by Barbara Banke and the late Jess Jackson, has been a key beneficiary of RNDC’s planned departure from the Golden State market, onboarding several new suppliers in recent weeks. Most recently Regal announced it will be handling the portfolio of Paso Robles-based Hope Family Wines beginning July 14, with exclusivity starting August 1.

The Hope Family range includes Austin Hope, Treana, Quest, Austin, Liberty School, and Troublemaker. “We’re proud to bring Hope Family Wines into the Regal portfolio,” said Regal Wine CEO Rick Tigner. “They’ve built a strong national reputation rooted in Paso Robles, and we’re ready to build on that success—driving distribution, expanding reach, and supporting the continued growth of their brands across California.”

The addition of Hope Family follows several other new supplier deals for Regal. Among them, New York-based importer and marketer Kobrand is joining the Regal portfolio as RNDC exits, as are Monterey’s Scheid Family Wines and Napa Valley’s St. Supéry. –Daniel Marsteller
