•Lodi, California-based Michael David Winery has appointed Regal Wine Co. as exclusive distributor for its home state. The Michael David portfolio includes the Freakshow, Misfits & Mavens, Earthquake, Michael David Winery, Inkblot, Sixth Sense, and Lodi brands. The company has 800 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards in the Lodi appellation. Regal is taking on Michael David’s brands effective today, with exclusivity beginning September 1.

Familia Torres has appointed Fabrice Ducceschi as general manager of the company, effective September 1. Ducceschi has led companies from the food industry such as Albacora Alimentos, Adam Foods, and Nutrexpa, and will report to the family-owned Spanish wine group’s board of directors. “I am confident that Mr Fabrice Ducceschi, with his experience and global strategic vision, will help consolidate our business in this new phase and successfully address the challenges of the ever-evolving and transforming wine sector,” stated Torres chairman Miguel A. Torres.

•Dayton, Oregon’s Sokol Blosser Winery has named Copa Fina as its new distribution partner for California. The switch was effective July 1 and gives Copa Fina distribution rights to the winery’s full portfolio across the Golden State, including Sokol Blosser’s Dundee Hills Estate Pinot Noir, Kalita Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir from the Yamhill Carlton AVA, Willamette Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Bluebird Brut Cuvée Sparkling Wine, and the Evolution line of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling, among other labels.
