August 6, 2025•Brown-Forman has launched Tennessee Blackberry, the latest flavored whiskey from Jack Daniel’s. The 35% abv whiskey is made with a base of the brand’s flagship Old No. 7 whiskey, blended with fruit flavoring. The whiskey joins Jack’s other flavored options, Tennessee Honey, Fire, and Apple. The new release is rolling out nationally and carries a suggested price of $22 a 750-ml. The core Jack Daniel’s offerings (excluding flavors) were at 4.87 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank. The brand’s two largest flavored releases, Honey and Fire, were at 661,000 and 326,000 cases, respectively.
•Wine-based RTD brand Beatbox has launched a new Mystic Grape flavor. The 11.1% abv drink comes in 500-ml. cartons and joins the brand’s wide array of fruit-flavored RTDs. The new flavor is available across the U.S. in over 130,000 retail locations, according to the company. Last year, Beatbox surged nearly 80% to reach 5.4 million cases in the U.S. While typically found in individual 500-ml. cartons, Beatbox is also available in 4-packs and 3-liter boxes, depending on the region and flavor.
•Lucas Bols USA has named Breakthru Beverage Company as its new California distributor, following the dissolution of RNDC California. The move is effective September 1 and will cover Bols’ entire portfolio, including the Bols Liqueurs, Galliano, Tequila Partida, passionfruit liqueur Passoã, and Pallini limoncello, among other brands. The new agreement expands Breakthru and Lucas Bols’ existing relationship, with California the 14th state where Breakthru is Bols’ distributor.
•Bordeaux’s Mouton Cadet has launched a new trio of wines named for the great-grandchildren of pioneering winemaker Philippe de Rothschild. The new wines include Mouton Cadet Rouge x Pierre, a chillable red; Mouton Cadet Blanc x Nathan, a Sauvignon Blanc; and Mouton Cadet Rosé x Mathilde, a rosé made from Merlot. The trio are line priced at $19 and are rolling out now to bars, restaurants, and the off-premise across the U.S. Mouton Cadet, imported by Turquoise Life, was at 35,000 cases in the U.S. last year, up 2.5%, according to Impact Databank.
