•Charlotte, North Carolina-based Delta Beverages has announced a rebrand alongside a new ad campaign, “There’s a Delta For That.” The rebrand, done in partnership with agencies Tattoo Projects and McLean Design, features a new logo, an updated color palette, and new imagery, with a focus on highlighting the brand’s flavors and ingredients. The ad campaign will run on digital, social, and out-of-home channels. Delta’s zero-calorie seltzers come in eight flavors and doses of 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg. Delta says its products are sold in more than 8,500 locations across the U.S.

•Colorado-based Canopy USA has named Eric Ruhle as vice president of brand sales. In his new role Ruhle will oversee Canopy’s national sales strategy. He joins the company with more than a decade of experience in the legal cannabis industry, most recently serving as Kiva Sales & Services’ senior regional sales manager for Southern California. In addition, Ruhle has worked at Marley Natural, Dosist, and Final Bell.

Jushi Holdings, through a Pennsylvania-based subsidiary, has filed a lawsuit in the commonwealth against 10 hemp distributors, alleging that unregulated hemp THC sales in the state are an illegal circumvention of Pennsylvania’s medical system. Jushi, which operates 18 licensed medical dispensaries in Pennsylvania, alleges that the unregulated hemp market creates “substantial and unlawful economic advantage, shifts compliance burdens onto lawful operators, endangers public health, and destabilizes the regulated market,” according to the lawsuit. Hemp THC has largely been ignored in Pennsylvania, with the state legislature still deadlocked on adult-use legalization and the state imposing little enforcement against hemp THC sales, according to reporting in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
